Understanding the Boundaries of Dignity – Dignity is the first boundary a system must protect; when it fails, everything else fails with it. The lower limit of dignity is protection from degradation and humiliation; the upper limit is preventing domination and predation. Every structural failure we call “evil” begins with a breach of this boundary.
